PHOTO OF THE WEEK – This past week we held the 4th Annual SocioWeen. People from all over the country traveled to our apartment for a spooky and spectacular event. This year awarded t-shirts to the Gentleman and Lady with the best costumes. Let’s take a minute to congratulate this years victors!

This Halloween season we grabbed our machetes and set back out to blaze a few trails through the dank, dark forest that is drinking! From within the mighty booze brush we brought back to you a series of spooky shots, full of eerie ethanol, Satanic spirits, and haunted hooch ! Some of our drinks (like many of our metaphors) are bad and confusing. However! This year we might just have found a few to titillate and terrify you at your next Halloween party! In the last few years I have gotten very into Halloween. I have a lot of fun with it. I love the costumes and the parties. It was only natural that on this, the 25th year of our mutual existence, I was a Ghostbuster for Halloween.

Here is how I created my costume.

Fall has the best seasonal everything! The best foods, the best drinks, the best holiday peripherals, the best everything! Don’t believe me? Do you think I’m wrong? No, buddy, you are! I dare you to try and disprove me. Right this instant! Come on! Bring it! BRIIIIING IT!

In 1984 the world welcomed two major additions to American comedy. The first would obviously be my birth, which occurred one cool Spring evening. A few months later the world was introduced to Ivan Reitman’s masterpiece, Ghostbusters. This year of our Lord and Savior Jesus Cristo 2009 finds itself to be the 25th Anniversaries of both such occasions. Unlike many, many, many of the posts before this I am not here to write about myself – I am here to discuss the joy of Ghostbusters.

PHOTO OF THE WEEK – Halloween is slowly rearing its ghoulish head, so to get you in the mood for the season of the pumpkin, here is a photo of some zombies. But not just any zombies! Zombie fish! Fish of the Living Dead! Watch in terror as these once friendly fish devour each other alive in unspeaking horror only to rise again! It is against all the rules of Man and God!
